🚀 CardStack 1.4.1 is live

Hey friends,

It's June 1st, which means two things:

First, a bunch of your monthly card credits just reset.

Second, we're somehow already halfway through the year. Insane!

Before we get into the news, take five minutes today and make sure you're actually using the credits you're paying annual fees for. Amex Platinum, Amex Gold, Sapphire Reserve, Hilton cards, Marriott cards... the list gets long fast.

This is exactly why I built CardStack. Most people focus on earning points but forget to use all the credits on their cards.

Now onto the fun stuff.

💳 Chase's highest-ever Sapphire Reserve offer is ending soon

It seems that the public 150,000-point Sapphire Reserve offer is ending soon.

That's the highest public bonus I've ever seen on the Sapphire Reserve.

150,000 Ultimate Rewards points is a massive offer. Depending on how you redeem them, that's enough for things like:

  • Business class to Europe roundtrip
  • Multiple international Hyatt stays
  • 10+ domestic economy flights

The bonus requires $6,000 in spend within three months.

The bigger story here is that Chase rarely pushes offers this high. Historically, once these elevated offers disappear, they tend not to come back quickly. View from the Wing flagged the offer as ending soon, and The Points Guy has the current offer details.

If you've been thinking about adding a large chunk of Chase points to your balance, the clock is ticking.

🔄 Three new transfer bonuses

A few new transfer bonuses went live this week, and Bilt's June Rent Day bonus expires today. See the full list on our active transfer bonuses page and confirm ratios in your issuer portal before you transfer.

Bilt → TAP Miles&Go: 25–125% (expires today)

Maybe worth it, depending on your Bilt tier and the redemptions you can find.

Bonus depends on your Bilt status: +25% (Blue) up to +125% (Platinum + Bilt Cash). Transfers are capped at 100,000 base Bilt points. Full tier breakdown is on our transfer bonuses page. I'm sitting on 250,000 Bilt points and saving them for a better transfer bonus, so I'm passing on this one.

RoveTurkish Airlines: 50%

Worth it.

This is the standout bonus.

With the 50% boost, you can book business class between the U.S. and Türkiye for as little as 44,000 Rove miles or economy for around 27,000 miles.

Turkish still has some excellent sweet spots if you're willing to do a little homework, and a 50% bonus is big enough to make the math very attractive. I fly Turkish business class a lot (my wife and I both have family in the Middle East), so I'll be taking advantage of this one.

CitiQatar Airways: 30%

Maybe worth it.

I don't fly Qatar often, but Qsuites are genuinely one of the best business class products in the world, so this is maybe worth it if you can find a good redemption.

With the bonus, Qsuites to Doha can cost as little as 54,000 Citi points. If you're connecting onward to Southeast Asia or Africa, you're still looking at roughly 74,000 Citi points.

AmexMarriott Bonvoy: 20%

Definitely skip this.

Don't get me wrong, I love Marriott Bonvoy. In fact, I have Platinum status and carry the Amex Brilliant, but 20% is weak. Hell, even 50% is weak, because Marriott points aren't worth much unless you find a killer redemption, and Amex points are still very valuable.

Want a heads-up when a new transfer bonus goes live? Track the programs you care about in the CardStack app, and we'll send you a push notification.

💸 Your June credits just reset

Quick reminder:

It's June 1st.

Many monthly credits have reset across cards from Amex, Chase, Hilton, Marriott, and others.

A lot of people focus endlessly on earning points while quietly leaving hundreds of dollars of credits unused every year. One to use ASAP: the $100 Saks Fifth Avenue credit on The American Express Platinum Card is being permanently retired on June 30, 2026.

Track them in CardStack and make sure you're getting the value you're paying for.

📡 American Airlines is adding Starlink to 500+ aircraft

American announced it's bringing Starlink Wi-Fi to more than 500 aircraft.

I cannot wait for Starlink to become standard across the industry.

I've used it on flights that already offer it and the difference is night and day. It feels like normal internet instead of airplane internet.

The ability to work, stream, message, and browse without fighting a terrible connection is one of those upgrades that genuinely improves the travel experience.

I know I'm a snob, but business class + Starlink + Apple Vision Pro is my ultimate flying experience. :D

This is one airline trend I'm fully on board with.

🚀 What I'm Shipping This Week

CardStack iOS v1.4.1 is live on the App Store with a new app icon and brand identity.

When I launched CardStack in mid-March, I went with a placeholder icon. Now that CardStack is out of beta, this release finally gives it a proper icon and brand identity. Hope you like it! If you love the old icon, you can switch back in Profile → Custom App Icon. There's also a cream/light option for the new one.

New in 1.4.1

  • New app icon and icon picker in Profile screen
  • Cleaner card detail screens: see how many points, miles, or cash back you've earned this year
  • Track airline certificates, hotel certificates, hotel status, rental car status, and lounge visits
  • Add expiration dates for certificates
  • Log lounge visits with optional dollar values
  • Card anniversary tracking for anniversary-based credits
  • Smarter automatic credit tracking
  • Full year of transaction history when linking accounts for the first time
  • Bundled expiration notifications
  • Faster performance across the app
  • Community-requested bug fixes

As I mentioned in issue #9, the biggest addition is probably certificate and status tracking. A surprising amount of value gets lost because people forget they have a free night certificate, elite status benefit, or lounge access sitting around unused. Now everything lives in one place.
