Points Valuation Chart
What are your credit card points actually worth? This chart shows the current cents-per-point (CPP) valuation for every major rewards program, based on typical transfer partner redemptions.
Last updated: March 2026
Bank points (Chase UR, Amex MR, Capital One, Bilt, Citi TYP) and select hotel programs (Hyatt). Best redeemed via transfer partners for premium cabin flights or aspirational hotel stays.
Most airline programs (Delta, United, AA, JetBlue). Value varies significantly based on route and class of service. Domestic economy redemptions are worth less; international business class is worth more.
Hotel programs like Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, and IHG. Points are easy to earn in volume but worth less per point. Best used for aspirational properties where cash rates are high.
How We Calculate These Values
CPP (cents per point) represents the average value you can get when redeeming points through transfer partners for flights, hotels, and other travel. These are not cash-out values — cashing out points is almost always worth less (typically 0.5–1.0¢).
Values represent a realistic average for a savvy but not obsessive redeemer. If you consistently find outsized-value sweet spots (like Hyatt Category 1 properties or ANA first class via MR transfers), your personal CPP will be higher.
